Should Halloween be imported to and celebrated in Italy or not?
Mmm...well, in my opinion, which can sound a bit superficial, Halloween is just another occasion to party and have fun!I think that a lot of people like it above all because of its being "exotic", I mean it is a foreign tradition, that's right, it doesn't belong to our history...but that makes it even more fascinating!This is why I like it...it's just fun!
Kids like to trick-or-treat, teenagers like to fancy-dress and party.
What I don't like about Halloween is that it has been commercialised... but that's just what happened to every tradition...just think about Christmas or Easter, Carnival or Mother's day...everything nowadays is commercialised...we live in a consumer society and like it or not, it's just another aspect of globalization...
